Hello! I am Emily E. Krueger, also known as EEK! I am a [mostly] self-taught artist who has picked up the pencil since 2003.

   My art journey was inspired by my best friend, who introduced me to Japanese anime/manga along with her own art. I was so awed by her ability to whip out amazing drawings, that I had to try it out myself.

   I started by reading an embarrassing amount of "How to Draw Manga" books (Thank you, Christopher Hart), and received a lot of great mentorship from my art teachers throughout high school and college. Accompanied with my drive to always learn and do better, I have accomplished a point where I'm sure my starry-eyed preteen self would fawn over.

   It's been a lot of work, and there's still so much more to improve, but I've loved every step of the way, and look forward to the path ahead.
